The Spokane veterinarians who see birds are disappearing. First it was Dr. Black, next Dr. Evelyn Wilson, and then Dr. Kathy Sande. Where does this leave us bird owners? We are forced to see someone who may not know much about birds, drive to WSU, or clear over to the Seattle area. There is such a growing need that it's time we all DO SOMETHING about it! Please sign this petition to bring an Avian Board Certified Veterinarian to Spokane (or at least one who is very knowledgeable about birds!) At the very least, maybe we can get someone to come to Spokane a few days out of the month or a couple days a week.
